Prior to joining PrairieCann Growth Corporation as the Director of Business Development, Natasha had been consulting to the Private and Public Sectors for 8 years. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing and Management from the University of Regina.
As a former member of the Consulting Services group at MNP, Natasha helped Canadian and international organizations with their compliance, planning, evaluation and transformation initiatives. She played a founding role within the firm’s Cannabis Industry team and was a key member of both MNP’s Aboriginal Services and Food and Beverage Groups.
Natasha led key projects which informed the board on MNP’s market entry and positioning strategy as well as its risk mitigation approaches. She published an cannabis industry report and a financial benchmarking study which were used as tools across all firm service lines. Natasha has been called upon to speak various cannabis industry conferences as a Subject Matter Expert and contributed to firm thought-leadership pieces at MNP. She has direct experience helping licensed cannabis producers, applicants and ancillary service providers navigate the regulated cannabis space.
Natasha took on her role as the Director of Business Development at PrairieCann Growth Corporation in March 2018. Her responsibilities include the growth of organization’s cannabis retail, distribution, extraction and production businesses. Since joining Natasha has led the development of Jimmy’s Cannabis Shop brand and its Western Canadian strategy. Jimmy’s currently has four licensed cannabis retail shops.
Natasha holds various board positions within PrairieCann and its joint-venture and subsidiary organizations. She is a former board member of the Ontario Philharmonic.
