Jason Kujath is the president of 51st Parallel Inc. and, with his team, is responsible for the design and construction of a production facility in Lethbridge, Alberta and a number of cannabis retail stores across Alberta. In 2018, as a cannabis executive, he was a finalist for the Financial Post’s Canadian General Counsel Awards (Business Achievement). As a result of his advocacy efforts with a stakeholders group, Jason was invited to participate in the Alberta Government’s task force dedicated to the legalization of cannabis. Prior to this he practiced tax law at the Calgary offices of Dentons Canada LLP and Felesky Flynn LLP. He holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor, an LLM (Tax) from Osgoode Hall, an MBA from Cornell University, and the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
